Does anyone have camping locations they recommend in NY? My FH's best man doesn't know where to go and its in two weeks!! Any help would be great! (hopefully the drive isn't TOO far away either) TIA!!

You mean down here or upstate? I think there's a campground in Greenport. You can also check out the Suffolk County Park websites, although I don't know where the 'good' campgrounds are.
Upstate, we used to go to Oquaga Creek (I think it's a state park).

DO NOT go to harriman state park. Very crowded.
I went to a campground in rhinebeck a ton of times, that was nice .. it was called Interlake. Not sure if they have tent sites anymore.
And the best place is Kittatinny Campgrounds, in Barryville. I go there every Memorial Day wknd, have been going for over 10 years. Nice wooded sites, you can get them on a creek too which is sooo nice to listen to ... and there is a raft co. owned by the campground too.
