NWR: OMG i forgot to tell u girls..

Angelo decided, all on his own, to quit smoking.

I never really pressured him becasue well...noone will quit until they are ready. Well on Sunday morning he came and picked me up to go shopping and run errands and he told me that he decided that he is quiting.
Im sooooooooo happy not cuz of anything else but he has been smoking for almost 15 yrs and he is only (almost) 28.
He has been doing pretty good so far, he has cravings and is a cranky a$s at times but its so worth it in the long run.

Im so happy

that is great news!!! its rough in the beginning, i know bc i quit 5 yrs ago this february, i was very nasty, but its sooo worth it.

That is great news! I just quit on Thanksgiving-it is very hard so do your best to be patient. The first 2 weeks were the hardest for me & now I really don't even think about it. He will be fine as long as he stays determined.

If he has major trouble.....nicorette is really good to ease any cravings.
I quit smoking 2 yrs ago......I woke up one day and couldn't breathe and that was it. I never went back. However, I did get really moody....Nicorette helped tide me over for a few months, and then I didn't need that, either!
He is probably doing this b/c he has you and now realizes there is someone else to live and be healthy for
