NWR OUR CAR WAS STOLEN!!!!

Our car was stolen from the front of our house sometime last night!!

So why the smiley????

Whoever, took it for a joy ride must have gotten scared because we found the keys on the front lawn and the police found the car three blocks from our house!!!!

It was kinda scary because our back window and screen were wide open so we can't figure out if the perp got the keys from inside the house or if we left them on the car or something.

In the end everything is alright!!!!!

when I was living at home, I had brought my car in to be serviced, on the way home my gas light came on and I was feeling lazy so I decided I'd just get gas in the AM. I went inside - forgetting that the valet key I had given to the mechanic was in the console.

The next morning I went out to my car and something just wasn't right, I kinda blew off the feeling and started out to the gas station, that's when I noticed that I now had a half tank of gas and my change cup was empty! Apparently some kids took my car on a joy ride only to find I had no gas and then used my change to get some!!!

That is hysterical because our car was on EMPTY!!!! Maybe they got nervous it would stall!!! Those punks!! FH and I have been laughing about it all day because I could totally see us doing something like that back in the day. As long as no one was hurt...no harm no foul as the saying goes.

OMG! I bet you are right! It makes for a great story. I love that the kids threw your keys on the lawn! maybe they didn't want to leave them in the car and risk it being stolen again

OMG! I bet you are right! It makes for a great story. I love that the kids threw your keys on the lawn! maybe they didn't want to leave them in the car and risk it being stolen again

That car is such a piece of crap that I'm not surprised they didn't really want it!!!

You are lucky, guess the lesson learned would be to keep your car low in fuel from now on, I don't seem to have a probelm doing that lately, guess I am safe

You did still file a police report, right?

While it IS funny - if they did something illegal with your car and they have the plate #... it could spell trouble for you.

Very true!! Actually we only got an incident number. Since it didn't seem that anything really criminal happened. But if something did we have that number to refer to.

It was the first time I ever sat in the back of the police car!!! When we found the car and I tried to get out the back handle didn't work :) FH had to free me!!
