NWR-Pet Friendly Rental co-op/house

So I have two small doggies, frenchies to be exact. (Pic in album) I find it near impossible to find somewhere to rent that allows dogs that is not a small fortune. Even co-op communities a lot dont let you. My complex does for a fee but its just so so expensive! I feel like a house is near impossible to save for paying this much for a 1BR plus managment is god near awful. Im just tired of it.

So anyway my question is anyone know of anyone renting an apt/co-op/ house in nassau county that will except two little dogs FH and I? PleASE FM me. My lease is up in october so I still have a few months to look but I want to find something decent to stay in and save possibly with a baby til we can afford a house.

Ive tried trulia.. msli etc but they are nit specific and id rather not deal with a broker.

if you good mitchel field apartments, they are in east meadow...my friend lived there...they advertise only 2-4 br, but i'm pretty sure she had a 1br...so maybe they only have a few...regardless, the rent is high but it includes all your utilities, fenced yard, washer dryer and allows 2 pets per household...it's a community tailored mostly to traveling armed forces families, but it's open to civilians also...you may want to look into them

craigslist

check off pets and set your limit to max what ever you want to search. it will give you all the available apartments that allows dogs

Thats where I am now. Well Fairview now called eagle rock I cant imagine theyd be much cheaper.

I had a bad experience with an apartment through craigslist. I never will again if I can help it.
