I am embarrassed to even be asking this but I am getting a bit worried. I am on the pill and get my period like clockwork! I am not due to get it this month til Monday. Ok so this gross - SORRY - Starting this past Monday night, I started noticing like a brownish tint to my discharge and I am all crampy and stuff, like I am gonna get my period any day now.
I have NEVER had this before - do you think it's normal? I am under stress (obviously), so mayeb that's why??? Any thoughts?

I would think it's stress related ABSOLUTELY!!!! You've been crazed lately!!!! If it's still 'off' or 'weird' by the end of the week or the weekend,,maybe call the dr. to put your mind at ease. but it sounds normal!!

Marisa, I would say its stress, but maybe call the Dr. to be sure. Dont worry, im sure its nothing!!

Its stress, but Id call the doctor just to tell him or her..
Break through bleeding is common when your on the pill, but if it keeps happening, I'd go see the doctor.

I think it's stress or your cycle is changing.
Call your Dr. just to be sure though.

i really wouldn't worry much about it just yet. wait until the day you are due for your period and see what happens. it could just be some spotting--but brownish spotting. i've gotten that before. your cycle or body could be changing.

Nope!!! And I feel like last month I was even more stressed than this month (b/c that was when all the drama was going on w/ my MOH and FSIL) and it was totally normal last month.

I get that too sometimes. Usually right before my period and then sometimes after it. I think you will be ok. But if it reallly is worrying you make an appointment with you Gyn.

What pill are u on?? i had early spotting im on yaz doc said its not as strong so sometimes this can happen

as we're TTC'ing...i'm reading a book called Taking Charge of Your Fertility & it says that any brown discharge is 'leftover' from your previous period and isn't cause for alarm. It's the first 'stuff' to come through the works for your next period.

I am on the generic of Nordette28 (its not a super common one I don't think) but I've been on it for over 10 years! And I've been on the generic version for at least 3-4 years of those 10.

I agree...it happened to me for a while while my cycle was changing a bit and STRESS really is a killer so it effects way more than we ever think.

it is STRESS.....but if u want call ur doctor, but i am 99% positive that it is stress as it has happened to me b/4.
