NWR: punch and judy

hey girls,

has anyone recently been to punch and judy on the lower east side? if so, how was it? and did anyone dance around or is it strictly a sitting place? is it anything like ps 450? TIA

With its dark, sign-less entrance, it’s easy to miss this gem of a bar at first glance. The dim lighting and cushy, red leather couches in back coddle young, frisky couples and single hipsters taking shots. Since obtaining its full liquor license, Punch & Judy is no longer known as a wine bar thanks to a seductive list of specialty drinks including the Very Berry Mojito and Lemonade 26. Aside from its menu of American-style tapas, the chocolate fondue with its tender pound cake morsels, blackberries, and candied cashew-covered bananas may send your taste buds into an orgasmic frenzy. When the weather is warm, the backyard patio opens for cocktail sipping and occasional star-gazing.
