NWR: Question for teachers

I just got called to interview for student teaching next week. Didn't know I'd be interviewing and feel totally unprepared. Does anyone know what kind of questions they're going to ask and what to expect? TIA

Yes......

I am a music teacher but still had to do an interview for student teaching. It is just an interview to see how you prepare to work with children.

In my interview they gave me a senario of a student misbehaving and asked how I would handle it.

Also, they asked about my college experience, why I wanted to become a teacher, what attributes or characteristic I bring to the classroom and what I plan to accomplish and learn during student teaching.

HOpe that helps!

I can't really remember exactly what was asked during this, but I definitely did have to go for an interview. I remember it being very casual though just in order to get to know me better so that she would know the best teachers to place me with. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Good luck!
