NWR: Quick Questions about NYC

Ok so not sure if you guys remember but dh bought me tickets for my bday to see mary poppins. This will be only my 2nd time in NYC, so anyway what should i wear to the musical? Is there a certain dress code to get in?

It's not a silly question. There used to be a time when people got all dolled up to go to the theatre, because it was a social event where they were going to 'be seen'. Days of pearls and gowns are long gone.
People go casual....I personally try to look a little nice. I see people in cut offs and flip flops and find that a little too casual. I usually wear a little sundress or dress pants. Comfortable and stylish. There are times I have seen famous people in the theatre, and have been glad I was dressed nicely.
Have a blast! It will be soooo much fun!

You don't have to dress nicely, it's really up to you. If you wear a sun dress I'd bring a sweater because it will get cold in the theater.

I like to look nice too, but I usually wear a decent pair of jeans (or dressy shorts) and sneakers, because it's easier w/the commute and all the walking! I do wear a dressy top, though. But they'll let you in in just about anything!

Enjoy the show... Mary Poppins is a great one!
