nwr: rainbow cookies

I baked rainbow cookies over the weekend and brought most of them to work. No one ever heard of rainbow cookies before...needless to say, they are gone .

I haven't tried to make my own yet, I'm not much of a baker, but Lulu's on Union Tpke in Fresh Meadows has THE BEST Rainbow (7-layer, tricolor) COOKIES EVER... MMMMMMMM....

Ralph's Ices also actually has a rainbow cookie flavor that's okay but nothing compared to the real thing.
