NWR:: Read any good books lately???

Since I've got engaged, I have been unable to get through one complete book. I don't know if I it's because I am obsessed with planning and I can't concentrate or if the books I am selecting are garbage!!

Any one have any recommendations???

I like love stories (typical chick haha) and gritty memoirs (David Sedaris-esque)

i just read Friday Night Knitting Club and i really liked. i usually read chick-lit and its kinda chick-lit but not so girlie. right now i am reading My Sister's keeper and i really like it.

I was really disappointed with My Sister's Keeper...I got to the end and went '....that's it?'

I've been really into Historical Fiction lately...and also I read trash like the Gossip Girl series

Funny memoir 'Bitter is the New Black' by Jennifer Lancaster....


That is the first of her 3 memoirs.... very funny, easy read. I am waiting for her 4th to come out in May, and I am sooo not a reader I just really took to her humor and style. Like I wanna be her friend.

I read The Kite Runner a few months ago. I thought it was good. I'm about to start his other book, I forget the name... A Thousand Suns or something like that.

these are my two favorite books ever...khaled hosseni (spelt wrong) is an amazing writer.

i just finished twlight....it was ok, i felt like i was 13 again reading it, but it was a quick read.

im reading chelsea handler's book. my horizontal life. its ridiculous. im sure my brain cells are dying as i read it. but its where my attention span is at the moment. haha

i love James Patterson books. i read The Lifeguard & The Quickie. i don't have time to read the Dexter series that i purchase because of school.

for school i am reading Authentic Happiness & Overspent American.

I just read Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin, and I am almost with Something Blue by Emily Giffin - I am loving them!

Something Borrowed & Something Blue were great. The other two Baby-Proof and Love the One You're With were a little disappointing

i actually just started the Gossip Girl series and the True Blood series. Gossip Girl is such a light breezy read...which is what I want right now BUT the Sookie Stackhouse series (True Blood) is absolutely amazing!!! No need to be a fan of the show...the author is pretty damn cool with writing style haha

when i ride the subways everyday! i cant make it through that 50 min commute otherwise! ill be bored to tears!

I would tell you the book I am currently reading but noone will have any intrest in it once so ever

Plus I can only read books when I dont have anything for school due. I cant wait till summer I miss getting lost in a book. Ugh Im such a nerd!
