NWR- Students

Mini-vent...sorry!

I am sitting here grading some of my students work because I have to do report cards (they have to be handed in THE DAY WE GET BACK FROM VACATION! )

I can't beleive how many students DON'T WRITE THEIR NAMES ON THINGS!

So I guess that I am a mind reader now too!

aww i'm sorry!

How do people forget to write their names on paper????? hmmmm

One would think so!

7th graders are too concerned with how cool others think they are to remember to write their name!

I have high school students who forget to write their names too!!! There are also a few who just put their 1st name as if they were Madonna or something!!!

my report cards are also due the day we get back. I hate papers luckily I am teaching SPED right now so I have less kids. Good luck with that

as for the no names... the general ed kids that i work with (I push my kids into a gen. class) know that if they don't put a name on their paper I will literally go crazy.

Mine know ill go crazy too but this is just so annoying!

My students do the same thing. I throw all there work in the garabe if it has no name. I tell them that they don't care about how much hard work they put in to it that they didn't put their name on it. Then it belongs in the garabe.

I know! It's so annoying! And they do it for important things like labs they need for the Regents, which really annoys me because I have to try so hard just to get them to do them at all!
So if I recognize the handwriting I give them credit, if not, into the trash it goes!

oh man what is with kids.. my kids dont put their names on their papers either!!!

but i guess i will let them get away with it.. they are only 6

but that really does stink.. that would make me nuts. for my 1st graders it's not a big deal. eventually one of them realizes its their picture haha

I teach kindergarten and we're teaching them to WRITE their last names now....


You'd be suprised how many of them don't know their last names!

haha i feel the SAME EXACT WAY lol so far my whole 'spring break' has been grading becuase my report cards are due when we get back too....i have a whole unknown pile. luckily i only have 70 kids so i can guess on the handwritten ones....but it is frustrating, i teach 6th grade...err this vacation stinks, grading is the worst...im knee deep in essays so i feel ur pain!

My students do exactly the same thing. It drives me nuts! I also call myself a mind reader and they look at me like I have 10 heads!
