NWR: Teachers - student vent

I don't know what happened to my students.... They were sweet and funny people for most of the year, but once the warm weather hit, they're failing classes, getting into fights, mouthing off to teachers. I forgot I hate spring!

I am a HS teacher and they are ALL on edge. The 90 degree, muggy, humid rooms don't help! We are almost there!!! 18 school days left! WooHoooooo

It's DEFINATELY the weather...the kids have been wacky, even at the elementary level!!

I had a pretty crappy day with my students as well, I feel like I have no tolerance left by the time May comes. I can't wait till summer, I need a break

I teach 7th grade special ed. so my kids are kinda always a little nuts

omg the same with me!!!!!!!! i mean my kids were never that great to start with but now its even worse..i swear im counting down the days more then they are!

My kids keep telling ME they have SPRING FEVER. 'No no children. I have SPRING FEVER!' NYC only 28 more days!

i can definitely relate with you on that one! my kids have been like animals let loose these past few weeks and its only been getting worse! one class almost brought me to tears today! dont worry - just about another month!!!!!

I feel your pain!!! They are getting soooo lazy! Yesterday was the last day for seniors. It was suppose to be today but the principal called them into the auditorium and announced that he didn't want them coming in today. (Every year the senior s play a prank on their last day so he was afraid they'd get stupid.)

My juniors have been out of control especialy my lovely 8th period class which has been out of control all year long!!

i teach at the elementary level and they are turning into beasts!!! and OMG the 5th and 6th graders are reallying starting to stink up my band room. dont they know about deoderant?

Ive had a set of those 8th period kids all year long also. Ive never felt this way before but im so glad this school year is coming to an end... I love teaching but its been very hectic.... in school at least. lol
