NWR: Thats it! I've made a very BIG decision about my future and I am sticking to my guns!

I have been miserable for the past few months at my place of employment. I think my time is up here and I think the ultimate decision is to leave. As much as I love my friends here and how cool the idea of the job is, every detail of this job makes me crazy and depress and to save my sanity, I need to leave.

Soooooo before I quit, I am doing this the smart way and I am going to line something else up first.

Does anyone have a head hunter? Any one know of any fashion positions available, both corporate or retail?

I think this is what I need to do. I have been contemplating this for months, and today was the icing on the cake...

So where do I start?

I dont know any head hunters- but check out the Sunday NY Times- Career Builder and Monster.com

I am not in that business, so I dont have any suggestions, but just want to congratulate on taking this big step and having the guts to do it

all of my friends work in the buying offices of major department stores. I can ask them for a reputable head hunter in the industry.

Good luck. I am in the same boat. I have been looking since March and only got 3 interviews and hardly any calls.

unfortuantely i dont have contacts in fashion. wish i did. one of my BMs was trying to get a job sooooo bad

but im glad you are taking the smart approach and lining something up!

I don't know the company but it own Express, VS, etc..they have adds on Monster I think and a career website...

Maybe for the holidays you can work retail and make connections...they always need part time help!
