I headed into Manhattan on Sat. night with my sister and a friend, and we went to the Bodies Exhibit at the South Street Seaport. It's an exhibition of how the human body works, and essentially you get to study, up close, real bodies and dissections. (Like being able to look at the entire central nervous system taken from a real person.) I know it sounds a little odd, but it was such a cool amazing exhibit! If you are at all interested in how the human body looks on the inside, this is a very interesting & different idea to do for the weekend! I certainly felt like I learned a lot from it. If you are a bit squeamish, this may not be for you, but I really think it was so cool.
It's $24.50 a person to go--and I highly recommend buying the audioguide for $5...as you can learn so much more!!!

I went to thre exhibit in Chicago last year and it really was amazing. I had to dissect bodies for school and thought it was so interesting, it was a nice little refresher course! I would recommend it to anyone who isn't too squeemish!
