We have off next week and I still didn't plan a vacation. We don't have passports (ugh annoying) but want to go somewhere nice-any suggestion? Driving or flying-anyone know any good deals? Any suggestions?

If you like doing tours try Newport RI. I went there and saw all the mansions it is really interesting and fun and there is a beach there its not huge but it does the job.

Re: nwr-vacation help
One of my faves...esp in summer is Northern Cali.. Fly to San Fran...chill there or drive 2 hrs to South Lake Tahoe - Neveda / CA border...have a bit of everything from the casinos, restaurants, kayaking, hot air ballooning and the lake is gorgeous. So blue like the Caribbean and so much to do. They have big chain hotels there too...with great deals. From there you can take tour anywhere...like Yosemite National Park or vineyards.
I also love heading to New England...I would suggest jumping on some sites to see whats going on in local areas...like festivals, etc. Maine has a Lobster Fest and Blueberry fest in August...not sure what's up for next week though
