NWR: Vent
FH and I moved last friday which is great. We really like our new place, but we have had so many problems with our furniture delivery (or lack thereof) and the post office.
The post office is still delivering mail to my old address, which happens to be my parents address. I called the post office and they said everything is in order and that I should tell my postal carrier about the forward....ummm HELLOOOO... I am no longer in the same county as my postal carrier and isn't that their job???? ***?
Then, we needed to get a permit for our pictures and I decided to have it mailed to our new address. Well, thankfully the place issuing the permit called and said the permit was returned to sender- address not known!!! I even had the guy double check the address and it was correct.
I just find it so irritating. I am missing guest RSVPs that even though some are going to my old house, the others could be out in the abyss somewhere.
Then with the furniture. It has been a week and we are eating dinner on snack tables and folding chairs. We bought this beautiful living room, dining room and bedroom sets and we are stuck with friggen snack tables because of a 2 week delay in the warehouse...GRRRR.... It is so annoying. I just want to be comfortable and settled..... Plus with the wedding stress it is just so crazy......
