NWR- whats a good LI beach to go to?

I am planning a beach trip on Sunday with my brother, SIL & nieces & nephew. We usually go locally to Coney Island, but I heard its a worse dump then ever before.

Can I have some suggestions of where you go to the beach??

I love Long Beach, but they charge you $10 pp if you don't live there.


i loooove long beach! its nice and quiet and CLEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im more then happy to fork over 10 bucks so i dont have to lay in the sand with garbage next to me
