So, FH and I will be moving into our new co-op hopefully in the beginning of Sept. We are looking to buy a couch and kitchen table. We have looked at a ton of furniture stores. We like some stuff from Bob's Furniture and Ashley's Furniture. However, I've heard that Bobs has gotten really bad reviews. So...
Where can we get good quality furniture at reasonable prices? Thank you!

Actually, FH and I bought our dining room set as well as our coffee table and end tables from Bob's. I love them and haven't had any complaints yet!

I just bought a ton of furniture for our house soooo
my couch came from Macy's dining set at Pier 1 my other couch came from Rooms to Go (a while ago) The mattress came from bobs! Bedroom set from US Furniture in Astoria...

I bought my living room furniture and bedroom furniture from Bobs and love it, so far no complaints, my bed is sooo comfortable. I bought my dining room furniture from JcPenney's

Look up here for what you want then call factories down there. Even with the shipping it's still SOO much cheaper.

I don't know where you heard about Bob's and bad reviews but I SWEAR by them! They were SO inexpensive and GREAT quality furniture! And the shipping wasn't bad either, PLUS they put everything together for you. They were in and out of our apartment in about 10 minutes with a headboard/frame/2 night stands/a long dresser with mirrow/tall dresser. It was GREAT and we will DEF be using them again when we get a house!!!!
Raymour and Flannigans has REALLY nice stuff but are REALLY expensive!

A friend ordered all her furniture there and it looks like it was made WELL. Plus they are very reasonable. and she mentioned something about a warranty - any scratches, markings, they will fix.

When I lived in my own apartment my coffee table, end tables and sofa table all came from Bobs. I loved the look of it, it was heavy REAL wood and I had no complaints at all . . . best part was all of that cost me a little over $800 or $900 (cant' remember exactly). I would recommend them definitely!
My couch and chair/ottoman came from IKEA and they were really nice looking, comfortable and held up well. They had slipcovers that are washable and look great. Pottery Barn sells an almost identical couch for 3 times as much (still makes me laugh lol).
My dinning room table came from The Place on 110. Again, loved it, no complaints except the delivery guys left the plastic over the seat cushions and there was really no way to ever get it completely off. That kinda ticked me off.
I don't have the above furniture anymore but our bedroom set now is Thomasville and it's awesome.

I've had mine almost a year now and we don't have any complaints at all. Their delivery guys were nice and had everything set up really quickly. We also have the 'goof-proof guarantee.' I think it's 5 years and covers ANYTHING. I would definitely buy from them again.

We bought our bedroom set from Bob's, and our bed frame broke 3 months after we bought it. (Not even in an 'interesting' way - I was horribly sick with the flu and when I got into bed, one of the support beams broke. NOT COOL.) So we bought a new bed from where we bought the majority of the rest of our furniture - Ashley. It's over a year old now and looks brand new. They're totally affordable and have a lot of really nice stuff. I 100% recommend them!
ETA that we chose not to pursue the warranty from Bob's and get the same bed, since it broke so quickly we figured it was a pretty big design flaw and we were not interested in repeating our mistakes. The support beams on our new bed are metal like they are supposed to be, so we don't worry.
