NWR - work party invite grrrrr

NWR - work party invite grrrrr

So a co-worker is having a birthday party for her child. She made invitations, apparently, with a pic on them of her cute kid. Then she showed me the invite so I could see the cute pic of her kid but didn't let me KEEP the invite (more than sort of implying that I am not invited!) and went directly into another co-workers office and gave her the invite for the kid's party! I never received an invite!

What kind of etiquette is that?

I have an idea... show her a sample of your wedding/engagement party invite and then go give it someone else at work

Now that is a good idea! Much rather be invited to a wedding than a kid's party...

Good Lord! I can't believe she did that!!!

When one of my former bosses left my job, he had this great big going away party and invited everyone in the office but me (his secretary!) And then he asked me to take care of all the administrative details and detail with the restaurant. I told him to shove it.

As Michelle Tanner from Full House used to say 'How rude!'

Was she doing this on purpose? I think the worst! I would definitely do it right back. 'Do unto others as they do unto you.' I teach older kids but I still make them live by the Golden Rule!
