NWR - WORK VENT

OK so you know that I work as a travel agent... this woman bought a ticket to Europe, she was supposed to fly on Sat. she didnt because on the way to the airport she realized her passport is expired... instead of going to the airport and trying to rebook the flight for another day she had her friend call the airline to let them know whats going on... fast-forward to this morning, she comes in and thinks it will be so easy to change... surprise it is not, the airline will help you most of the time before departure once the put 'NO SHOW' in the reservation, usually the airline will not even give you a refund of the ticket!!! so this woman doesnt understand it, we are trying to explain to her that we will try and see if the airline will allow for the refund minus the penalty, she wants the money right away! and she tells me it is our fault that her passport is expired because we didnt tell her to check can you believe this? whats next? should I go and pack her too? this is ridiculous this woman upset me so much... she cant accept responsiblity for her stupidity and comes in to yell at me I hate people go feck yourself biaatch

well what it boils down to is that Lufthansa's contract will not allow for ticket refunds after departure and especially if passenger doesnt show at the airport... plus it is my fault that her passport is expired

Ugh! I hate it when people try to put all the blame for their stupidity on you!

I used to get that all the time when i worked at the supermarket... it was my fault they didn't read the sign correctly and got the wrong size of whatever they were buying, right? arg!

I think everyone should be required to work in customer services at some point in their lives...

i think actually it is her fault that she is an a-hole. Aga,,, also, did you check to make sure she paid her other bills and took the dog for a walk? we cant have people out there being responsible for themselves, now can we?!

I know exactly how you feel. I am a day care teacher and babysit sometimes after work, well when the dad came home he got mad at me because i didnt feed the cat and dog. I'm sory I am a BABYsitter. There were no instructions telling me to do other wise. And i did feed the kids(lol) so i am so mad right now. But i hope your day is better tommorrow.

I didnt see the boss yet, he just came back from vacation... you know whats funny at one point I was so mad at this woman I called my boss at home and let him talk to her... lets just say the things didnt go so well for her either, she didnt like what she was hearing so she hung up on him...
it is just so fecked up you know, when I make a mistake I admit it and do everything I can to fix it, but I am sorry I dont feel like I should do anything after the way she is treating me (but I will try to help her anyways because thats just the kind of person I am)
