My co-worker was assaulted Monday night by 6 to 10 teenage girls in BK. They didn't steal anything. The cops said it gang related. Her whole head is swollen and bruised. Her face is black and blue- Im just speechless
there is some F-ed UP people in the world

That is so scary and I'm sorry to hear that. I hope your coworker recovers from this. Do you know what part of BK? This so scary...I'm at a client in BK now.
I hate hearing about this stuff. I see on the news more and more lately about girl fights. what is everybody trying to prove?

My fiancee is a police officer in Bedstuy and you wouldn't believe some of the stuff he sees. There are a lot of really messed up people who need serious help in that area.

That is terrible, and there's no reason for it , but it happens ALOT. My FH is a firefighter in Bed-Stuy, and they go on EMS calls for this kind of violence ALL the time. And more often than not, it's a person who is originally out of state, decided to move to new york, and was rented an apartment by a realtor who failed to tell them what a dangerous neighborhood Bed-Stuy could be, but obviously gave them a cheap price. They hear gun shots outside of the firehouse at least a couple of times a week. I hope your coworker has a speedy recovery and moves out of that nieghborhood.

There are sick people in this world. One time a bunch of teenagers bunched a man in the subway in the face before running out laughing. Random act of stupid violence.
so sorry to hear about your coworker!!! Hope someone has SOMETHING on camera...they have them everywhere now

Thats horrible! Bed- stuy is a scary place! I hope she has a speedy recovery.
I had a classmate that was jumped on the subway after he tried defending a couple of elderly people being bothered by some kids. They broke 2 of his ribs, and had to have his jaw wired shut (and he was is the army reserve!). Its so sad these kids are so out of control.

She came to work- I would have milked the F out of it ha
just im speechless still- she walks by my desk and I just feel so bad.
Background- she wasn't doing well before the attack and now this might hinder her recovery from her past even more :(
