NWR:Sons Father

NWR:Sons Father

Ok some people here know my situation. Anyhow, Lucas my 8 year old son, is having a hard time in 3rd grade. I don't get support from his father, cause he's a deadbeat living with some internet whore in Ohio, and tries to switch his Social security #, so I don't get support. But...this is my deal. I asked him 2 weeks ago to pay for swimming, and he said fine. I called him tonight, and he says and I quote'Why should I pay for swimming when he's a failure in school'? So now i wanna drive to butt FU*k Ohio and B!tch slap him something fierce. Sorry for the havoc, but I am at my witts end. The ordasity. And on top of that, he tries to say....your being taped, so be prepared in court. Uhhhh Emmmmmmm, but excuse me, you mine as well dig you own F'in grave. Fuc* with the bull, you get the horns. So thats what I'm about now! Thanks for listening. And if you were in my sitch what would you do?

I am so sorry for your situation...

I don't know if you could try explaining to his father that while he may be having a little difficulty in school, that it doesn't mean you're going to give up on him or his abilities. And if your son enjoys swimming, then why deliberately take that away??

Good Luck

I tried explaining that, but to no avail, he's stuck on punishing him. I get the excuse from his new girlfriend, that she can barely afford Walmart shoes for her daughter, and I want him to pay for swimming at 75.00? Listen, this is his son!!!!!!!!! Whatever the outcome, atleast I know I stated my opinion

It sounds like he just wants to hurt you. I think it's time to get a lawyer and be done with him. He doesn't seem to be much of a father or a good father figure anyways! See if you can work things out with your song by using swimming as bait for good grades..

I agree 100%!

I am so sorry for you and mostly for your son that he has to have that kind of disgrace as his father!

I would be seeing red right now. How dare he?

But Mel, us as women always end up doing what we have to do. You cannot force him to do anything even though that is what he is supposed to do. Lucas will grow to respect all the things you have done for him. His father will not get the credit.

I know Darren will make sure everything is ok.

Sometimes life is not always picture perfect I know it would be great for Lucas' Dad to be some sort of a MAN but he's not youcan't stress that you have been doign it on your own with Lucas for all his life and GOD will prevail make sure you keep doing it. Lucas had a better role model in his life now and thats you should be grateful.

As far as the failure comment I'd be on my way to Ohio as we speak

Sorry to hear about your situation. My cousin who I refer to quite a bit on this site has the same situation with her own father. But as far as your son goes, here is my solution, what do you do with cancer when it is trying to spread and do damage? You cut it out. I know you want your son to have a relationship with his sperm donor cause apparently he isnt a dad or father. Remove him from your son's life. He doesnt seem to have the same interest or love for him. So why put your son through all that hurt just to make his sperm donor feel comfortable? You seem to be marrying a very stand up man who loves your son as much as you do. At some point you as well will have to realize that no matter what you think in your mind he is not on the same wave length or thinking as you and maybe never will! That man was your mistake and your son is the Icing on the cake of a bad choice. Love him and leave the A$$ hole to his own vices. Life will be you and your son's revenge. When your son is a grown man and is succsessful and thanks his mom and dad for all the love and hard work they invested in him he'll be referring to you and your FH!
Sorry this was so long-

I don't know why you would get yourself so aggrevated over this.. he is in bumblef*ck Ohio with his internet wh0re and you and Darren are here being the best parents I know you are.. Things will work themselves out, you know they always do..

I think that you should just do what you probably do best, focus on your son. As a teacher I have seen similar situations when one parent is not involved, sometimes the child feels sad and a little lost...it is so important that you are the rock and do not vent your frustrations about your ex to your son (not that you do)- and always give him positive support. There is a reason that your ex is in Ohio and not with you, because you are smart mature woman who doesn't need that crap in your life. Unfortunately in this situation he really is an ***, I suggest you actually do tape ALL your phone calls and other communication that you have with him. What a jerk, I can't stand people who think they are above the law and moreover above their moral responsibility....good luck...

All I have to say that I'm sorry you and your son have to deal with a jerk like that. He is ignorant and a loser for saying your son is a failure at school. Well he is a failure at fatherhood.

Ugh Mel!!! What a malicious little pr*ck. Kids needs activities outside of school, regardless of their grades/performance. That's a lame excuse he's giving just bc he doesn't want to fork over the $$$. I am so sorry you're dealing with this nonsense. I know you must want to strangle him but, just be careful what you say you never know what desperate people are willing to do.

I know Britt, but I did tell him, he was the load that shouldv'e been swallowed. He didn't like that very much, and his excuse for no support is that he's now on disability. Well last night Darren and I sent him an email looking forward to his disability checks. F with the bull, you get the horns. You can't run from the state. All I can say, is that I look forward to court tomm. I'll keep you posted.

Mel Honey as a mother I agree w/ Eli 100%. Yes I may have Tejan in my life who cares for both of his children but you have Darren who has excepted you and Lucas, and little Blake in his life. Don't dwell on the a s s hole b/c thats exactly what he is. You, and Lucas know who have been there through thick and thin, and who will always be there. He may be having ahrad time in school right now but it's only natural. Kids have to adapt to their surroundings and get comfortable w/ their own settings. He will be alright, if not today, or tomorrow w/ role models like yourself as well as Darren he will be fine, and guess who he'll ahve to thank...... Mommy Melanie, and his great father figure Darren.

Don't worry honey, you'll have the final say. And as for him recording you, let him record on, Sh&T make a dam record deal. He's the one looking STUPID!

Re: NWR:Sons Father

Some guys just dont get it. Has he ever thought that maybe he is rebelling? When kids arent happy about something they tend to act out. Maybe that's why he's not doing good in school; he misses his dad. Maybe he feels like his dad will come back and fix it. You never know. You need to take him to court, you have his number so you can get his address. Get a summons sent to him and he'll have to go if not he'll be locked up.

I wish you and your son the best of luck

I am so sorry you have to go through this hon. I have seen so many cases like this it is crazy! My aunt had to go through the same thing with the father of her three children. It was so bad that she would have to write birthday cards in their fathers name because he would forget. However she was blessed that she found a man who loved her and her three children and now she is better off.

If financial support is a problem then I strongly recommend getting the courts involved.
