my cousins are coming to visit and its my 25th bday so i need a new place to go to!
im thinking a place that plays current music that we can dance to or like a martini lounge or like a place with specialty drinks.
any suggestions?

Personally I LOVE Sutton Place...its a really fun place and we always have a good time...they have a nice rooftop bar and its perfect for gorgeous nights!!

I asked FH, he said if you're looking for trendy, perhaps check out the lounge at the tribeca grand hotel, he saw tyra banks there (4 years ago), and he still talks about it.

ohh ive never been there! i should have mentioned that a place with food would be ideal otherwise i have to pick a place to eat and a bar ill def ask if ppl are up for indian...it does look swanky hahaha.

i like cafe wha. just keep in mind that it's always crowded and the band plays 80s music.
try the meat market distict. there's a lot of places you can hang out there.

Yeah, there are a strip of lounges right there...I think 'duvet' is another one right there (like club 'bed')....

hahaha that's awesome! out of all the times ive been out in the city...the only famous person i saw really up close was giada at the penninsula for tea
i def need something good though because im turning the big 25 (yay for my 1/4 life crisis).

'one' in the meat packing district is good, lotus is good too. If you are looking for a club type place try Providence, Marquee, Duvet, Bed, Pacha.
Also theres a bar at the W hotel, its more of a lounge, not loud music or anything, people love it bc of the atmosphere, but honestly I think the prices are way over priced and it is over-rated.

i love sutton place too, turtle bay is also good...that whole strip is fun...but it depends if you're looking for something in the bar family or the club scene....

Hudson Hotel is great if there is a mixture of personalities, everyone will feel comfortable. I also went to Room Service recently for a birthday and had a great tim. You can reserve a table and the bill goes to food and drinks. It's actually next to a strip club which you have to walk through if your among the last to leave It's funny after drinks.
