NYC Bachelorette Party Ideas
Ok ladies. Need your help again. My sister's friends and the rest of the bridal party are a bunch of party poopers and are not willing to go to AC for her Bachelorette Party. So, we are doing a night out in NYC.
My plan right now is to have everyone meet at 6 at my place for some pre-gaming and perverted party stuff.
I'd like the limo to come @ 7:30 to take us to dinner, and then we are going to a club. My sister is very trendy, something which I am not. I am hoping you ladies can recommend a nice place to eat (we are not interested in a place with drag queens), and a great club to go to afterwards. I think we want a place with table service.
1 - does my plan sound good?
2 - please recommend some good places. We had my cousin's at Tao last year and that was great but I don't want to copy her.

For restaurants I recommendBuddakan
Spice Market
Matsuri
Shang
Rosa Mexicano (the one in union square)
Essex (I had a dinner there for my friend's bachelorette and it was about $60 per person, all you can drink and apps/entree)

I'll keep that in mind for my bachelorette. Not really my sister's cup of tea. Basically, if celebrities do it, that is where she wants to go.

Anything in the Meatpacking District. But usually if celebs do it - its expensive. Tao is supposed to be amazing, but be ready to spend $100 pp

Ha Ha Ha. And my sis won't touch anything that swims!
I think she might like a hibachi place. I know I would. I just worry because we are so different that the things I think are awesome she is going to think are lame.
I like fun, low key, or downright tacky. She likes classy, trendy, and usually expensive.

Re: NYC Bachelorette Party Ideas
I agree w/the meatpacking recommendation. Any club there or along 27th street off 11th ave should work--Marquee, Home, Pink Elephant. But also these places are hard to get into and expensive (Home is the easiest to get into and no cover usually, tho). There is also the Park which is more low key but fun and upbeat. For dinner, Spice Market, Buddakann, Markt, STK, Pastis are some places off the top of my head.

Re: NYC Bachelorette Party Ideas
plunge bar in the gansevoort hotel was pretty nice. it sounds like meat packing district is right up her alley. the last time i was at rosa mexicano a big group of girls were celebrating a bachelorette party. the place is so lively and loud, its really fun!

Re: NYC Bachelorette Party Ideas
I don't think she will wear 'bachelorette' stuff. I will buy her a few things to wear at my house and maybe to dinner. But knowing her she will be too embarrassed to wear it in public and definitely not to a club.

OK, I am looking @ some of these clubs online and I don't see a dance floor. Do people just dance where the tables are?

People usually just dance all over the place - No dancefloor needed.
