Any girls from LI planning on going? I get out of work at 5:30 and could hop on a train from Great Neck if anyone wants to come with me.

Don't hate me, but I think all of those choices stink!!! We're in NYC - why go to a chain??

There are lots of low cost alternatives. If we are trying to stay in the same area - Divine bar is great and so is Social - it's on 8th ave between 48th and 49th.

If you want to stay near Penn, there is a great rooftop bar at Metro Hotel (i think that's what it's called) and they just opened a new Local on 8th and 34th and it has a big rooftop.

Divine Bar is actually having a really cool Sangria tasting the 2nd week of September -- that would be so much fun!

I'm in Midtown sort of on the UES...any other area besides Times Square? I kinda loathe the crowded vicinity.

Have any of you ladies been to Divine Bar or anything in the restaurant district?

If not, I'll suck it up and go to Times Square...

I've wanted to try Divine Bar! They have some really great wine tasting classes from what I've heard.

I've never been to Chevy's though -- looks like a lot of people are interested in that place!

Yes, Divine Bar is amazing...they have the best 'flights' and the most amazing brie appetizer. If anything, we should go as a post wedding newlywed treat...it would be great to meet!

Maybe we could have a secong GTG at a later time at Divine? Anyone in?

I have to agree completely. Esp. for someone who doesn't get out much (that's me! ) it would be cool to do something different.
