This Morning we were in the car at 630 am and no Howard. They were saying how infinity broadcasting pulled him. And then they played Jessica Simpson. Well we get back in the car at 830 and hes back on. APRIL fools JOKE! My FH looked at me and said we are such idiots. We fell for it.....

I heard it too!!!!! It was 'filth free radio' LOL!! I am proud to admit I didn't fall for it. I just thought for awhile I had the wrong station. It was a good prank though.

I feel for it, too!!! Hook, line and sinker. I am trying to convince myself that if I still lived in NY, I would not have beleived that K-Rock would play that kind of music, but I am just trying to make myself feel better since I didn't figure out that 'Fun without Filth' was a joke!!!

I completly fell for it! It didn't even phase me that they were playing non KROCK type music. I can't believe it!

I thought I had the wrong station on.... then I thought it was like when LIR changed formats (I am still not over that).... then I remembered what day it was.....He rocks.... that was great.
As a side note.......WB11 news reported that Infinity pulled him; they totally fell for it & then had to report a retraction about 10 minutes later......

It was a GREAT joke, esp. given the fact that it could very well have been a reality (him being pulled off the air without any notice and replaced by some generic 'unfilthy' morning drive duo..)
I caught it at the tail end and was totally duped, that is up until the part where the new 'morning duo' starting singing Jay Leno's praises .. and anyone who listens to Howard regularly knows that he HATES Jay Leno .. it was shortly after that he broke the 'April Fool's' joke.
I really hope it never comes true .. Howard might bother some people, but he really makes me laugh .. morning radio would never be the same for me he if left

OMG, my DH jumped out of bed this morning like a crazy man, saying, I can't believe it. He ran to every stereo, they had announced on FOX 5 that Howard was off the air, when he finally got the station on Howard was there, Big Aprils Fools, My hubby almost had a heart attack. He said he was not going to work and he was going to go picket if it was true!!!
