...I am starting to think about flowers. I really don't like flowers all that much but they are super important to be bc they will be the only colorful thing about my black & white wedding!!! lol

Anyways, I stumbled on
this site. Thought it was pretty cool!

Very cool! I'm not a big flower person either. I know nothing about them and have no interest in learning so I feel like this is going to be the hardest part of the planning.

I honestly felt the same exact way, but booking my florist ending up being one of the easiest decisions I made. Because I had no set vision in mind, the decision simply came down to who gave me the most for my money. I met with Kris at Distinctive Floral and told her the colors I wanted my bridesmaids in and she started pulling up pictures and showing me these beautiful designs. I was honest and up front about how much I wanted to spend which really wasn't a lot and she only showed me things in my budget. We were on the same page the entire time. I trust that she'll make everything look beautiful and I don't have to think about flowers! Everyone wins lol...Check them out when you look into florists

I found that Pinterest helped me with flowers a lot too. I took about 6 photos I found there to florists, and saw how they interpreted them. Lenea from With All My Heart really saw the vision I was going for and is going to help me to achieve it. I feel the same way about flowers. While they are beautiful, they aren't my biggest concern, I just want to make sure they look nice.

Thanks for sharing! I had no interest in flowers whatsoever, but after meeting with Dalsimers, I knew they understood my candelabra vision like no one else. That's when I realized I needed and event designer instead of just a regular florist. We ended up staying under budget too!

thanks for the share!! I was advised by my Florist to wait until August 2013 (we are getting married in August 2014) to see what looks nice when it's in bloom. I know not all of us have that time but I thought it was a great idea!
