Yes or no?

What level of 'spying' or checking up on your SO is acceptable (if any), what is serious trust issues, and what is borderline psycho:

Checking their cell phone for suspicious phone numbers

Cracking (or knowing their) Voice mail password and listening to their voicemails

Reading their E-mail

Checking their pockets

Following them or 'coincidentally' driving by or stopping by the place the are supposed to be

Any others? Any of these that you do on a regular basis?

DH and I have each other's passwords, but I don't use it without his consent. Now, a few years ago when he dumped me I did read his email. I know that was not right, but I did come clean with him when we got back together.

I don't do any of the above, neither does DH.
I only check his pockets when I'm doing laundry (because he likes to keep candy in them and its a big old mess when that goes through the washer and dryer).

I check his email once every few weeks because he never checks it. Then I make him sit and reply to his emails

I trust him with my life, he would never give me any reason to check up on him or spy.

i only check pockets when cleaning or folding or if i hear change jiggling. thats it.

I know his e-mail password and I even have permission to open his mail and look through his cell phone, but do I? No. I trust him completely and I think the fact that I'm allowed to check if I wanted to makes me trust him even more.

we know each other's email passwords -- that's all

somethimes if i am busy and i am waiting for an email, she'll check for me and vice versa

but never spying

let me rephrase that, during the holidays she spies to see what i ordered for her online

of course, this year, i forwarded all confirmations to my work account
