Re: Oct2004

By the way...Tommorows my b-day...woo hoo....

Ok..heres the long of it, that is the dress I want, I have looked at a MILLION pictures and not one looked like something I would like, when I saw this dress I almost fell over, I LOVE it, so of course that was my first stop 9 only made by Davids Bridal) So now you KNOW the size issue with dresses, so the size dress then had didnt fit...but not so bad only at the chest so they clipped it and it fit fine everywhere else and I LOVE IT< soooo much!

BUT...My arms look too big, truly it doesnt look good with flabby arms, tried on some others, fit good but YUCK! and nothing else in store looked good....SO, the time frame for this dress is 8-10 weeks( not bad?!) If I waited untill August to lose weight since I am planning on losing a LOT then I would fit better into it , can order a smaller size and they can still take it in...if I order now, they want to order the bigger size and they can only take it in two dress sizes and I KNOW I will lose more weight then that...

The dilema is that if I wait till say August/Sept to order and god forbid its discontinued, that is pushing it with the time frame for any other stores....

Im just confused by all of it...I wish I could have been thinner, tried it on and loved it, order it there and then.....

decisions, decisions....

Also, Dont get me wrong, Im going to go to other places just to try more on, but it is MY dress, I know it!

It'll all work out! You know that!!!!

Re: Oct2004

Donna it is strapless right?

Cause if it is your arms that bother you. that shouldn't matter about the size of the dress. Get the dress in aug and work out you arms until you day!

Re: Oct2004

acutally i would diet until sept. see what size they want to order then. Just remember you can't gain much after that!

I gotta work out my arms too! I wonder how much liposuction is LOLOL
WOuld it be that much if it were for just the arm area?

Re: Oct2004

Ok, you guys really just made me feel a LOT better! What are the chances of the dress being discontinued? I dont think that much, they said it was their 3rd most popular dress and it only came out last year ( made to be the knock off of JEssica Simpson's dress)

I WILL NOT have it altered there, I wouldnt trust them for that and I think thats what I will do.......I mean truly I dont think I will find another one I like ( but will look) and I have 9 months to work my arms out..thats really long time right ...to make a major difference? I hope so!! The rest looks good, maybe a little too hippy right now, but that can be fixed on the treadmill in 10-12 weeks....oh god, I hope this works out!

Shut up, you dont need lipo! I DO! but I think I can lose about 30 lbs, then try it on, and will probably go down another size by fitting time
