Don.. I could not be more pleased... They have played very well.. even in games that they have lost they have put up a damn good fight. When a team loses 10-3.. or 5 -1 reularly.. it's time to be concerned.. but the fight they have shown is incredible.
two and a half games out ... you could not ask for more than that with the expectation that this team had going into the season.
at this time last year, they were basically toast.. and you know what.. I don't know how long this is gonna last or maybe they are just a .500 team.. but I'm gonna enjoy every bit of it. Gotta love the Mets.. they get you on a emotional rollercoaster and I think that's fun.
It isn't cool when a team wins ALL the time. You gotta root for them when they do stink so that when they do start winning.. it's all the more sweeter and you can say I was with them thought it all.
