October 2002- Honeymoon

Hi girls, I am getting married October 18 this year & I want to know of some HM suggestions for that time of the year. I know that is hurricane season so we are looking to stay out of that belt. I hear Aruba is out of the hurricane belt. Any other suggestions that are RESONABLE and not too far of a flight trip. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks =)

October 2002- Honeymoon

I got married last October 6 and because it was hurricane season, we also had the dilemma of where to go, so we went to Aruba. The weather is always guaranteed to be great there and there are no hurricanes! We had a great time and LOVED it! The water is amazing!! We stayed at the Marriott.

Thanks, we are deff looking into it. Were there things to do there? We want to relax but we also might want to get off the beach once in a while (lol) I will deff look into the marriott. Thanks =)

Oh there was plenty to do! You can do every kind of water sport known to man and you can rent a jeep and explore the island (it's not that big) and there's all the duty-free shopping in town and there's booze buses, etc. Check out aruba.com.

Not sure what is reasonable for you - but we are going to Italy! (So excited) Since October is 'shoulder' season in Europe but the weather is great - you can find some pretty good deals.
