OCTOBER BRIDES

My fellow Oct brides -
Where do you ladies stand? Just want to make sure I am on top of my game.. I feel like there is still so much to do!

I printed my menus this weekend. I am working on the insert cards and will be stuffing envelopes soon.

I also need to apply for my passport very soon too.

we designed our own invites and are starting to print them and put them together now.

trying to decide on a honeymoon

just decided ceremony music

oy so much to do!!!

I still need to:

order favors
order unity candle
rent linens
make appt with rh for enhancements
get DOJ
design programs, menus, table numbers
send out invites
see my final centerpiece
buy parent gifts

Working on:

-Finishing up the 'final' guest list to send envelopes to calligrapher
-Putting the rest of the invites together
-Deciding on a honeymoon - we are sooo behind on that!
-Starting to think about music - seems pretty overwhelming
-Designing label for favors (wine bottles)
-Interviewing DOCs
-flower girl dress
-Tuxes
-cake tasing

That's all I can think of right now (I'm scaring myself!)

ETA: Rehearsal dinner!

I'm making my own invites so I have a final sample and will be finishing them tonight (no second job tonight so I'm taking FULL advantage lol)

Havent finalized menu yet to even stat menu cards but its all in my head what i want to do lol

Finalized guest list on friday.

Got last gift for bridesmaids

fully saved up the money we need (even if we go over) for this wedding! (sigh of relief!)

started looking for a hotel for a block which is the only thing stopping us from completely finishing the invites this week lol

got the flowerbaskets/headbands (will be adding finishing touches)

all dresses ordeed and ETA: August 23rd. my dess is said to come in this week.

I think I'm petty much on top...(i hope) lol

oh wait a biggie: I STILL have not found hair and make up i dont know why im so hesitant!

aahhh! Id be going insane! lol okay maybe we can help you and point u in the right direction. my best advice is to get the vendors done! trying making those appointments to meet with them soon so you can book ASAP! everything else should fall into place. Fall weddings are getting very popular and you might not get your first pick vendor if you wait much longer. Don't worry we'll help.

Bridemaid/Grooms Gifts
Rehearsal dinner location
Pick church readings
Undergarmets for day off
Finalize music church
Menus (print)
Waiting to receive invites from her:)

I think that we are doing pretty good. Am I missing anything?

thanks :) and I know I don't know what to do. MY FSIL keeps insisting I do my own since I do a nice job of doing my own make up and I know this one lady that does hair but I don't know why I'm so hesitant about this. Make up really worries me because I'm not a big makeup wearer to begin with lol. I'm just so difficult. I hate being me LOL

i'm not a big make-up person either, but i don't want to look plain... i went with lola loves make up and just told her i wanted to be more natural and I LOVED IT! i got soo many compliments from it too

We actually have an appt with a videographer on July 6th (his only appt open) and so we are going to try and squeeze in the limo's that night. One night this week after work we are going to pick out the tuxes. & last but not least - we need to set up an appt with the florist.

I think as time goes on I will need all the help I can get... My mother passed away a few years ago although this is the happiest time of my life it's also very hard doing this all with out her.
