Where are you october girls going on your honeymoon?
I am so clueless about this stuff... is october even still hurricane season?
I know aruba is below the hurricane belt... but neither of us really had an interest. We were really interested in Mexico..... perhaps St. Lucia....
are there better or worse months to visit these places?

my friend went to st. lucia last october and had no problem. and yes, aruba is safe from all that weather. FH and I are going to bermuda this october. everyone keeps saying, what about the weather? it's towards the end of hurricane season when we are going, so we should be fine. my mom's friend actually just went on a cruise to bermuda this past week and said the weather was beautiful.

dh and i went to Hawaii in October before we were married; it was amazing. the weather was perfect...and less tourists.

i thought i was the only one going there! we're staying on the island, but i've heard the cruises there are wonderful!!

we're going on a cruise of the southern caribbean- we bought insurance and if theres a problem, we'll worry about it then- but its so late in the season that hopefully it will be ok

We're going to the Riviera Maya, Mexico.
I would just book the place that you want to go to... don't worry about the weather. Definitely buy insurance though, so if something was to happen, you'd be covered. HTH!

I think its fine to go to those places- maybe just get insurance just incase.
Costa Rica, but i reccommend insurance on any $$ trip...you just never know:)

We are going to St. Lucia. Our TA advised us that we would be ok (weather wise) and we trust him. I've read other reviews from Brides that went there too during 'hurricanne season' and they had great weather.

haha my parents went to Alaska for their HM! My poor mom wanted to go somewhere tropical and my dad said no, let's go to alaska. They almost got stampeded by a moose and attacked by a wolf.
I don't think she's forgiven him hahahha

Hurricane season is June 1 to November 30..You SHOULD be ok but you never know

We are going to Australia. It's my dream place to go and it's perfect for weather because the seasons there are opposite of ours.
