Today is 7 months until my wedding. I feel like there is still so much more to do. How are you girls doing?

Re: October brides, how is it going?
Hazel's on Bell Blvd. in Bayside has really good shoes. It isn't very big, but they have a great selection!
On a second topic - we printed our save-the-dates this weekend!

Re: October brides, how is it going?
I sent out my STDs (finally) yesterday.
Regarding shoes- I found my shoes in a bridal magazine. Found a store on their website, went there, tried them on and ordered them. (My dress is ivory, and they didn't have them in stock.) (Aside from my shoes, I didn't think that they had much of a selection. So I wouldn't say to go there unless you were looking for these shoes.)
anyone know some good places to look for shoes? i'm not sure what kind i want so someplace with a fairly large selection would be nice. Thanks
You can try DSW Shoe Warehouse, Sandy's Shoes in Massapequa (though their prices are high) and Love My Shoes.

We are doing pretty well and are getting married on the first. All we have left to do are create our custom wedding cd favors!!! I must admit though my Fi takes care of most of this stuff. She is the Best!!!!!

Fallinlove - check out nordstrom.com they have the 'web's largest selection of shoes'. My friend found nice Kenneth Cole wedding shoes there.

Believe it or not, I found my shoes at Parade of Shoes. I wasn't looking for bridal shoes that day but I came across them and thought they were perfect. They were only $20 too which made them more attractive.

Re: October brides, how is it going?
Since I last posted on this thread, I got my guest accommodations squared away, my MOB dress ordered, sent out my STDs... Hummm... what else... Oh yes, I went to go see a florist. I think I'm going to be Flowers Michele. What a doll he is.

Re: October brides, how is it going?
I guess I should revisit with my florist. I booked him last year around August. Seems SOOO long ago. Guess we should clear up our expectations.

Re: October brides, how is it going?
I am in the process of booking video now after going over in my mind for forever whether I should or shouldn't.
I still need: invitations tuxedos hair stylist shoes flower girl dress
Now I have to fill in my play list for my DJ and schedule a design session with the florist. I also want another make up trial. It's the little things that stress you out!
ETA: I almost forgot I still need favors!

We haven't gotten engagement photos taken yet. We will in July when we move home. But applying to a limo sounds like a good plan for you

We were at a standstill but now we're moving right along....we ordered our wedding bands yesterday, booked our casual day shoot today, have an appointment with the florist on Friday and Limo next Wednesday! FH is sleeping on the couch right now, I wanted to go look for invitations, maybe tomorow.

i haven't gotten my engagement pictures taken yet either...my photographer told me that many brides have them done the day they pick up their marriage liscense since they have to take a day off to do it anyway.
my fiance got our favors today. one more thing done. full size bottles of pindar winter white on sale at bottles and cases. now we need to make labels for them.

I haven't booked my e-pics yet either. Taking the day off to do it and get your marriage license is a good plan. I may do that!

We haven't taken our e-pics yet. We're going to New Orleans in a couple of weeks and will probably take them when we get back (my fiance wants to have a tan for the pictures...)

Re: October brides, how is it going?
I can't imagine gettign e-pics done. No time! and we don't like pictures.
BM dresses are driving me crazy! Having a MOH 3000 miles away sux. Besides the fact that I miss her, we can't go shopping!
I'm doing stuff all backwards, & I have my favors & am almost ready to order the invites (can't decide on response card wording) yet, I dn't have bridesmaid's dresses & Fh hasn't been able to get a hold of one of his groomsmen, to ask him.
Oct. Groom- Your fiance doesn't have her dress yet? Is she looking? Most places told me to order by the 6 month mark. Sorry, don't mean to be pushy, just wondering. I hate when people are shocked by things that I haven't done yet.
