Whooo Hoooooo we made the final HM payment today.

That must be such a relief. Our travel agent hasnt called in months (she is the worst TA I have ever dealt with, now i know why we plan all our other trips on our own.)
We are going to pick up FH's wedding band tomorrow at Fortunoff, that is about it!

We had a party for our bridal party yesterday--supposed to be a BBQ, but the rain put a damper on it. I think the party was a big success--everyone seemed to have a good time and no shortage of conversation even though for some it was the first time meeting everyone. The only downfall one of my girls and his three of guys couldn't be here. It was still a great time!!!

I think we are going to wrap favors and I have been busy with bridal shower thank yous. The party was last weekend. Oh, of course and getting the shower stuff put away.

I started tanning! I am going to Oasis its on Deer Park Avenue in Babylon. If you go in tomorrow, monday, they have half off tanning and 25% off any package that you buy. Pretty good deal. It was really clean and nice.

Just waiting for RSVPs to come in, can hardly wait to get them all back

What is everyones thoughts on airbrush tanning vs tanning salon. I am so afraid to burn and I hate when you look at people and they have those white circles around their eyes from the googles. I notice it all the time with the news people...I don't want to look like that in all my picture. I really need to get some color or at least even out. I have color on my arms from where my shirt sleeves end...i am going to look like a damn red neck truck driver if I don't do something about it

I totally agree with you. I am a little nervous about going to a tanning salon but I need to get rid of some lines and get more color. The back of my dress is v-shaped and I definitely want more color on my back. What to do?!

Ok, so today we picked up FH's wedding band from Fortunoff and we returned my wedding band b/c i decided I wasnt in love with it.
We went to Tri County and I got my 'new and improved' wedding band that I am absolutely in love with at Diamond Roof. I absolutely love that place.

Yeah, FH didnt agree with me on my getting a plain band here and getting the real ring in Aruba, he said its not the same.
He was pouty all day yesterday, but today he was good.
I will try to post some pics later.
Tommorow, I get to start wrapping all the Lindt truffles in tulle (lets hope I dont eat more than i wrap)

I got SO MUCH DONE!! I finished pasting the menus together, spray painted a bunch of decorative items (vases and candle holders) ALMOST finished my photocube (just have to get fabric for the top, made my giant tree, made a ribbon curtain and made my table numbers! I am posting it on BHB, too because it took me forever and I'm happy to have them done! I still have to do my place card holder, but it's started...

My tree (pictures REALLY do not do it justice - I hope my photographer can take better pics of it than I could get...) It's 5 feet high and like 4 wide

This is the ribbon curtain - it's a total of 15 feet accros, we're getting married under a tent and this is the backdrop (the way the tent faces, it faces onto the golf course, and there will be people playing golf because it's sunday morning, so I thought this would be nice because it blocks the view but you can still see through it (my FH is behind it holding it up)
