This is where the '6 month girls' can chat about our weddings, how BUSY we will be this summer (summer? what summer?) and make sure we are all on track.

I think I found shoes. We'll see. The store is ordering a wide since the regular didn't fit quite right.

We also scrapped the Linens & Things registry (their customer service totally $ucks!!!) this weekend and started from scratch at BB&B.

I just finished up all my registries this weekend. My FH and I just did everything on line. We did BB&B, Target, and Home Depot! I really hope we get that power washer and table saw FH registered for!

oh no, I'll be sure not to tell my FH about this!! He was just recently kidding around that he wanted to register at Home Depot!!!

Me either! I feel sort of planned out! I keep checking my to do list, and there is a ton of stuff on it, but I've lost my motivation for planning.

I'm so sick of it also.
I'm taking a minor break because i have a big job interview on Wednesday to be an elementary school social worker! It's very competitive so I want to make sure I'm super-prepared!

I went with my sisters to get measured for BM dresses this weekend (phyllis is awesome!) and got shoes from Sandy's in Massapequa. I guess it was a productive weekend....

my BM dress place (Renate's) recommended Sandy's for dyeable shoes. how were their prices? I'd love to find something nice for the BMs for around $30 each.

I thought they had a great selection of dyeables and the prices were veyr reaosnable. The ladies were also very helpful, I would check it out,

That's good to know. I was pricing out the shoes that I found over the weekend, and it just hit me that after the wedding they will need to be dyed and the shoe store said they would do it for free, so there is no point in trying to save $$ by ordering online, since the difference in price is the cost of dying them!

-Cant wait until my cousins wedding is over on june 2nd b/c my MOH duties are keeping me from doing my own stuff.

Tonight I picked up my MOH dress for cousins wedding, its so pretty, my alteration appt isnt until the 24th though. I am going to Phyllis at bridal elegance, kind of as a trial, if I like her, I will have her do the alterations on my dress for the wedding.

invitations are ordered, finally, I can breathe a sigh of relief! It only took 2 hours and about 5 albums to find the right one.

I actually feel like I've accomplished something this month - booked doc, limos, tuxedos, hair, makeup, and received the proofs for the invitations. I hope this means I can take a break soon but my failed attempt at a diy cardbox is looming! In the midst of booking all of these vendors I've been avoiding the disaster that would be my card box. Time to focus my attention on fixing up the pile of hot glue and picture frames I abandoned weeks ago!

Wow, you really are moving along with things. Now I feel more motivated. Guess I better start doing things to check off the list.

You can always order one from E-bay and then decorate it yourself.
