Re: October (or fall) brides
From what I hear the only places that don't experience hurricane season are Aruba and Hawaii.
We're going to Hawaii.

Were going to England, Spain, Italy, France and Monaco. Too cold to visit any of the beaches in those countries during our HM though

We're going to St. Lucia but Sandals has a great weather policy I believe so I'm not too worried.

09 October bride crashing...October girls, don't believe the whole 'hurricane season is almost over' thing. I went to EPM from 11/1-11/8 and it was miserable weather almost the entire time! There was absolutely NOTHING to do (besides the obvious on a honeymoon ) when it was raining. And I'm not talking just rain - this was torrential downpour, so windy that the maids had to bring our outdoor furniture into the room kind of bad weather.
I don't want any of you to have the same bad experience I had because you bought into the whole 'hurricane season is almost over' thing.

Re: October (or fall) brides
Probably St. Lucia or Turks & Caikos. However we won't take the HM until winter of 2011 because of FH's work schedule.

Re: October (or fall) brides
Hurricane season last for months and months. I think if you want to go to an island go just get travel insurance so if there is any hurricane your travel agent can quickly change you to another area. I went to Turks last year during 'hurricane season' and it didn't rain once. You have to take a gamble. There are some islands more prone to hurricanes than others.

I live in FL and even though there hasnt been a big hurricane in the last few years...hurricane Wilma (that completely devasted Florida) was the last week in October 2005. Weather is so unpredictable
