October prices

FH are paying for our wedding by ourselves and all we can really afford is a daytime wedding, we're just hoping that people will want to party anyway!

I was curious to know what everyone thought was a fair price for an October daytime wedding. Either sit-down or continuous cocktail (FH prefers continuous cocktail).

hey !!! how are u we are having a daytime wedding and with the right dj and atmosphere im sure people will still wanna party. and i feel the benefits of a afternoon wedding are
1. it gives alot of your guests that have a hard time traveling at night plenty of time to get home before it gets too dark
2. you still have time for an after party without it being too late!
3. and it gives you and fh sometime together before you get too tired lol

Hi!! Yes we realized that continuous cocktail saves about $10pp and I thought that might even make for a better atmosphere for a daytime wedding. It's more relaxed and who wants to eat a filet mignon at 2pm anyway?? lol

We were thinking about having an after party at our house for close friends and family but who knows we might want to just be alone

Hi date twin! How many guests do you plan for? My reception hall is one wedding at a time and holds 120 max

For an evening wedding, it's $75pp before tax & gratuity. Includes sit down dinner, cocktail hr. of passed hor'doeuvres (choice of 6), top shelf open bar for entire night (cocktail hour til end of reception),
maitre D, bridal attendant, linens and cake/coffee.

There is a $150 membership fee (since its a beach club) and a $400 ceremony fee if you marry on the grounds. (that fee does not include a officiant)

ETA: if it's a daytime wedding, it's $65pp for that same package. Ceremony start time is 11am

I love it! It was exactly what we were looking for as far as location and price! I'm so excited!
Oh..and we had our tasting and it was soooo good!

Anyone have quotes for Venetian Yacht Club? We're seeing CHCC, Fox Hollow and Westbury Manor this weekend.

i had an afternoon wedding. all my guests came and they partied until the wedding was finished. we had a great time. i had the weddign at crest hollow country club. it was awesome!

Definitely check out CHCC!! They are amazingly reasonable especially during specific months and I'm sure even more so on a Sunday!

I don't have pricing for a daytime wedding in October.. but if you want my quote for the VYC for a march evening, send me FM! I also wanted to mention that I went to a Sunday daytime wedding in October recently and it was so much fun. All you need is a good DJ!
