Is this RUDE or what I sent my cousins there invitations the same cousins I wasn’t sure if I should have & Guest on the invitation. They are of course coming to the wedding but just have not bothered to RSVP. Are you bring a guest??? But my aunt says well you know they are coming. That is not the point they should still have some respect and mail in there RSVP’s. Its it just me ???

I can't believe they haven't RSVPed after the whole and guest thing!

OMG I hear you loud and clear...I am so fustrated with my family right now, my RSVP date was this past friday and they have not rsvpd and when you call the response is 'OF COURSE' Arrghhh!!!
They look at you like you are a bridezilla for wanting the decent common courtesy of an RSVP!!!!
Sorry to jump on your thread and vent but I feel your pain!

You would think that half the job is done b/c there is a stamp on it ya know? C'mon people!
Yep---happened with us for a lot of people---tracking down RSVPs is not fun!!!

I have a rule for the wedding...if you don't RSVP you don't have a seat, lol. It is not my responsibility to track everyone down and find out if they're coming or not. When they show up and don't have a place to sit I'll let them know it's because they were rude and didn't RSVP!!!
I mean can it get any easier. All they have to do is write the number attending and check a little box. The freakin envelope is already addressed and stamped. GRRRRR.
Tell you aunt, that until you actually get the RSVP in the mail you in fact do NOT know whether or not they are coming, as that is in reality the way people let you know!!
Havent sent out invites yet, still have time, but just finished my cousins bridal shower and i cant tell you the amount of people that never bothered to respond! I dont understand, a shower isnt too terrible, but for a wedding, are you kidding me, how long does it take to check of yes or no and put the stamped response in your mailbox????
I'm dealing with this also, our RSVP date was 4/3, and we are still tracking down RSVP's. One of the girls I work with never sent hers back, and when I asked her if she was coming, she said 'I'm going to try to make it'! What kind of answer is that?! This is the worst part of the whole planning process!

No its not you, RSVPs are the formal way of accepting an invitation. After all did you not send them a formal invitation, even though they knew they were invited?
I hate when people do that! It's so rude.
