i'm not a westbury manor bride- but my cousin is going to book w/ them!!! just thought i would share. she will be on here in the summer when she moves from california. she has the garden room b/c shes having a small wedding but shes not sure w/ the idea theres no bar in that room but Felicia told her that she shouldnt worry about it b/c they offer drink service at each table

I booked the manor room and I have about 150 guests on a Saturday afternoon.

well she is most likely going to book the garden room b/c shes only having 100-125 people- thats what they gave her for a sat eve!! i believe she will prob do may 24- memorial weekend!!

OK , I booked the Garden Room and Felicia is my BM (only a few of us are still lucky to have her since she got promoted). She reminds me of the Nanny. Loud, fun and always up for a good laugh. But anyway she said that she would put no more than 140 people in the Garden Room. Some BM will tell you 160. I'm inviting 140 people so I expect a turnout of atleast 120-125 which should be comfortable. I'm going to stop by one of these days to see the room set up for a wedding. The last time I was there it was a Vegas Night set up. The bar is in a seperate room across the hall but I like it that way. My cousin got married at the Watermill and her bar was off in a seperate room but you could order your drinks at the table. I think it nice to have a place for people to go and mingle if they want.

Yeah the Bar is in the library for the Garden room... I think that's pretty good too, and you dont' have to worry about a crowd around the bar getting in the way in the reception room

I agree 100% . That is why I liked it so much. It will be mostly the guys anyway hanging at the bar. All the ladies will be on the dance floor with me.

at first my cousin thought the garden room was kinda small but then she thought it over & realized her guests would be lost in the manor room especially shes only inviting about 125 people. i think the room is sooo pretty- they both are!! the grounds are just gorgeous!! i cant wait until she moves to ny so i can tell her to come on here! she just has one issue with where the dj goes- she knows it goes against the mirrors but it looked like it was cramped in there with the tables there- what do u think. she owes me big time for doing her research- well i have pretty much everything done so its the least i can do for her

Aww... you're such a great cousin for doing all of this for her! I saw the Garden room for a little bit, I didn't really pay attention to the DJ space though... I'm sure she will be fine though with 125 guests!

Both of the rooms are georgeous, I peeked inside the Garden Room bec they were setting up for a wedding when I went, I also saw them setting up the cocktail hour with the different countries stations, that looked sooo nice, I am def doing the Asian set up, the Greek setup, and I forgot the others. I have not seen the upstairs really, only when I went to visit my BM in her office. I want to see the bathrooms, and bridal suite (I heard its small but I am not going to be hanging out there) and I heard something about the Photography Lounge or room, where they take pics, have you guys seen that area. Did you know WM has a theatre in there? Its on there website under COnferences. Is there a roof set up with umbrellas I heard that somewhere?
