I feel like everyone got so many freebies. I only got the chocolate fountain. I think I should try for a lot more.

Def ask them if you can get other things as well. I got the coco fountain as well. I would have loved to get the 3 fountains. Is that going overboard?

Yeah I'm going to try to negotiate for more freebies too! I want all 3 fountains so bad! I only have the one right now... And I'm thinking about the martini bar since my centerpieces are going to be large martini glasses with flowers in them... hmmm...

Yeah def ask for the Martini Bar if your CP are going to have that theme, how cute is that!!!!!. I had a choice of MB or Tropical Bar. I have never seen the Marini Bar w/ ice slide at another wedding, that is something that will stand out and people will rave about. Def ask them to put it in for you

Yeah... I think I might ask if that can be my ice sculpture... maybe then I can get it for free? lol

I didn't see that... but since it's just water I don't know if I'd spend over 400 just for that...

Hey Denise, they have that water option, I dont think I am going to put Pellegrino water on the tables, only if they add it in for me at no charge. We were at a bridal expo and you can design your own water bottles with whatever label you want, we may do that and put that on the tables, not sure yet. We are also having white and red wines on our tables. I believe at WM you can upgrade tobetter wine choices. I have to ask what wine is going to be put on the tables, bec my dad will kill me if its cheap wine.

Luvbsb4eva: How did your flower visit go? I am going to visit them on SUnday?

lol sorry I just noticed this post now! Pedestals was great! I met with Nadia and she went over everything with me, I had pictures of ideas that I had and she absolutely loved them... she kept saying I like you because I would be like I have a picture of what I like, lol... This is what I got:

My bouquet
MOH bouquet
9 BM's bouquet
basket for FG
1 toss bouquet
Groom boutineer
10 gm boutineer
boutineer for my dad, my 2 uncles, FFIL
coursage for mom, my 2 grandmas, FH's 2 grandmas, FMIL, my 2 aunts and 1 cousin
flowers for the house (railing of stairs and stoop outside, as well as a CP for the dining room at the house)
Church: 12 pew arrangements, 6 on each side and skipping 2 or 3 pews b/w so it looks spread out, 2 alter arrangements, and 2 arrangements for during the mass (to present to blessed mother, etc.)
Then RH: about 18 CP's... martini glass with flowers in them and around bottom (saw a pic of this on pedestals website in their gallery 2 and loved it!) as well as votive candles and rose petals on tables, rose petals on placecard table, and arrangement for mine and FH's table and the cake...

All of this came to a grand total of 4,000... I thought it would be worse considering how many bouquets I had! And Nadia seems great, I know my flowers will look beautiful! I am going to see a sample of everything the end of july since that's when all of my flowers will be in season! I can't wait!

I think most of us are using the manor room. Maybe if you post on the Brides Helping Brides forum, previous Garden room brides could help you out? I know there were a few using the garden room from years past.

its just the manor room is more $$ plus you have to guarantee more!! so shes confused!

I would not spend over 400 for water. I agree water is water.
I think I would like to try for the sushi bar, but I highly doubt I will get that. so I will think of some back-ups.

I made an appointment after researching online and looking at WM's suggested vendors, I felt like from what I read that they would be the best choice! So I basically knew that unless something went horribly wrong during the appt. that I would book them! I don't like to shop around alot, it only confuses me! lol... and I thought the price would be the same thing! Me and my mom were like uh oh how much is this going to be when she was figuring out the price!

My bouquet is lavender roses with stephanotis with jewels in the middle, and the bridesmaids/MOH will have a mixture of lavender roses, lavender sweet peas, and purple lisianthus and my throw bouquet
flower girl will have a basket of lavender roses
groom will have a lavender rose w/ stephanotis boutineer, and GM will have lavender rose boutineers, orchids for the rest of the boutineers and coursages, and i believe the arrangements in the church will match the bm bouquets and CP's as well as at my house... the CP's at the RH will be lavender roses, anna or pink roses to match the pink linens at the RH, purple lisianthus, another fusia colored flower... I can't read what it is, lol... I don't know a whole lot about flowers, but she showed me pictures of the flowers and they are beautiful!

i was going to go to Flowers Michelle and FL. by Brian, but is that wasting my time bec Pedestals is my house vendor? and there is a discount if I use them bec we are WM brides. DO you think they will all have the same to things offer but diff prices, maybe more maybe lesss?? I think its safe to go with the RH house vendor, they decorate the place so nicely, everytime I see it, flowers are everywhere inside, do you think Pedestals supplies the flowers for their gardens, lol

I know WM is looking for a new vendor for flowers I know they were thinking baout looking at flowers by Brian. If you go to FL by Brian, Megan's sister is having her wedding at WM and MEgan is doing her wedding and she is familiar with the layout and so on.

Actually when I met with the Wedding and Event Studio they told me that Fl. by Brian is a house vendor too for WM. So if you would still like to try them out too... I felt comfortable with Pedestals since no one really has said anything bad about them and they've been a house vendor for a while! I'm not sure how prices vary between florists since I only looked at one, lol... and yeah I never thought about who does the WM gardens? It probably is them!
