Just a quick quesiton...next week I have to drop off my first real payment it makes it so real...when I drop the payment off do they give you a reciept or mark it paid on your contract?
Also I'm seeing alot of things on here that the BM have thrown in for free....my BM threw in the Vienesse trays but I see some people got wine and other stuff...do you I call and ask about the wine? Also what happens if you don't flip over your BM and would like to change even though he already signed the contract with you...is that possible?

Yes, they do give you a receipt and make your contract that you paid for that month.
Yeah ask your BM if they can give you more stuff added in. They are good with that. Say that you want the wines on the tables. You can add extra things after you have signed the contract.

Yeah call them and say I really want wine but I dont want to pay the $2 pp extra, 'what can you do for me'? But if you are going in to drop off your payment, it may be best to ask in person, who knows maybe they will add in other things for you
I was reading some of the past boards and some people got choc. fountains and martini bars and the ch and reception. I'll ask, it doesnt hurt and I have to go drop my payment off anyway.
oh no! i'm going to miss the showcase again if it's june 27th, i'll be in vegas that week! I don't think i'm ever going to be at a showcase before my wedding, lol..
Sometimes the freebies depend on how much youre paying. Different days, times, etc. You may get alot of freebies and pay a high price per person, or only get a few with a great price per person instead....
So I went on Saturday and dropped off my first official payment eeekkkk. But the great thing about it was the garden room was set up for a wedding and the bride was in it checking it out....it was beautiful and thennnn..I look out the back doors in the garden room and the 3 peacocks were right there - on the railing ledge. I was so excited I could have cried!!!
And yes the bridal show is June 27th because when I was there he gave me the pre-invitation as just a reminder and the max amount of people you can bring is 4 and that is including the bride and groom...so I don't think it will be so crowded.
Also I tried for some more freebies and they didn't budge because they said that I was 09 and I got a great price per head...but he did throw in our first anniversary dinner, so it was worth the shot.

I would love that, I'll be dancing with the peacocks, lolololol. I have seen them roaming about in the gardens with their feathers opened, they are just such beautiful creatures

hey ladies, just crashing your board here- but I wanted to tell you I got the wine bottles on the tables, and honestly I don't think a lot of my guests even realized they were there because WM made them look like a decoration, LOL. I know some people did drink them, but I wouldn't spend exra money if i were you..The only reason we even had them was becuase we didn't meet our minimum and they equalled the amount we were under.
But you all have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to worry about - westbury manor was absolutely amazing from the first time I walked in there when we were searching for a RH to the minute they walked us out to our car!

When I went last week - they said that the invites were going out soon - so hopefully within the next week or two. On the invite though it say 4 people including the bride and groom - but I want to go with my parents and then his mom...do you think that they will make a big deal if I bring one extra person?

last time it was very crowded so i think this time they are going to be very strict about it. I would ask but I don't think they would let you. Caus eliek I said last time was unbelieveably crowded. I saw groups of like 10 people. And you were only allowed the max i think 6. so it was really bad.
They wont kill you or send you home if you bring one extra person but check with your BM first, bec my BM said only 4 people . Yeah last time was overwhelming with everyone there, I couldnt even see some vendors all I saw were the high CP's , lololol. This should be a good one
