If I remember correctly the next bridal showcase is June 27th, and this time it wont be so crowded like last time. They should be sending invites out soon
They wouldn't let me go to the one in March because I wasn't booked there yet...and they wouldn't make an exception being that I was booking the following Monday...
I saw in some previous posts that people are having or have had candles all over the place....does WM provide them or do you have to get them yourself...like floating candles or those little votive candles?

I heard they provide them. I hope so bec I want candles everywhere and dim
Me too! although my wedding is in May 09 I asked that every fireplace be lit!!!!! I love candles!
I want pillar candles in the fireplaces also, it makes the the place and the event feel even more intimate. Even though its in the summer it is going to look really nice

I can't wait for the next showcase. FH will finally be able to go with me!!!
I can't wait either... I have to bring the other half of the bridal party... From what i was told they do plan on being very stricked with the amount of people that you can bring.... at the last showcase people brought more than the 6 max. They are concerned because alot of people complained about how crowded it was and they feel that it's not fare that people bring as many people as they want. That's what makes it crowded and I'm sure they have a max of people that they can have in the place at one time.
I think the date of the showcase is June 27. I've looked at how it looks in the summer in the Bridal Reviews but am looking forward to seeing it myself.

I hope it's not as crowded as last time also. It was horrible. And I didn't even see alot of bride and grooms. It was like random people. And they would all crowd around the kitchen entrance and as soon as the waitors came out with food they all grabbed it and there was none left to pass around. It was crazy!!! Hopefully this time it's better.

Yeah it was wayyyyyy packed. Good thing they will be putting a cap on the # of people you can bring. At one point it was packed that FH and I had to step outside for a bit. The lines to the food were realllyyyyyy long. But I love going there, rain or shine, packed/not packed. I will be going in a couple of weeks for dinner there. I want to see the thousand of tulips they have
I went there yesterday with FH to drop off another deposit, its Springtime at the Manor!! I love it!! When we pulled up they were staining/painting the Welcome to Westbury Manor sign on the road, which is good because it was really hard to see. We got to go in and sit at the dias in the Manor Room, which is really an unexplainable feeling...We were with Natasha, she is a SWEETHEART!! She pointed out to us that booking WM was fate, since, 1. WM is printed on everything and those are me and FH's initials, and their colors are our wedding colors (which we had picked out before we even went there) She told us that the next showcase will NOT be a madhouse, in addition to you and your FH you can bring 4 people. I believe its June 27th and the invitations will be in the mail soon. Sorry if I rambled...I just LOVE this place!!!

they said 6 people total last time too. but i think people brought more then 6. Hopefully they will control it this time! I can't wait to go again!! It must look pretty with all the flowers starting to bloom!

Mon, so I guess everything is marroon and beige/ivory right. Their plates have those colors. I dont mind the direction cards to be that color but I dont think I want the menu cards that color, well maybe it wont be that bad, I dont care but I will see. Im going next month. I love the cherry blossom tree, I have to have pics under there if it is still there in June
Just a quick quesiton...next week I have to drop off my first real payment it makes it so real...when I drop the payment off do they give you a reciept or mark it paid on your contract?
Also I'm seeing alot of things on here that the BM have thrown in for free....my BM threw in the Vienesse trays but I see some people got wine and other stuff...do you I call and ask about the wine? Also what happens if you don't flip over your BM and would like to change even though he already signed the contract with you...is that possible?
