Toni, can I ask you a question? Who did you deal with at SC? Because we're having a sh!t of a time getting them to throw in a few ice sculptures. I previously had a thread on that. But anyway, this broad is being a hard on. I'm not sure if it's because we denied their baker( cause we're using our own baker) or if it's because she has to get all the paper work for us to bring in our own cake. I think Darren is on the verge of complaining (and he NEVER does). I thought Tom was really professional, so perhaps we'll just deal with him. But it seems like everytime we go there to make a payment and talk specifics, we deal with someone new. I figured I'd ask, cause so far it's been smoothe sailing for you. You deal with different peole each time?

They thre in the ice sculpture right from the get go , when we signed the contract . Its on the contract too.. That & the linens, which are only napkin colors, cuz the linens for the chairs & table are only white, there is no other choice..
But yea when we booked Tom , was like Ill give you the ice sculpture & when we signed he wrote that on there !!!
when ever we go to make a payment , I ask for him, 2xs Ive mailed & sent it to him only.. I have yet to deal with anyone else other than some nasty beaoch in accounting , because they didbt get our 3rd payment on time . Like you allready have a few thou outta me, they sent me some crazy letter telling me that Im in default of my contract & I could lose the dat if they didnt get their money & @ that point it was like 2 weeks late , big freakin deal,, !!!
So when we spoke to tom he was like form now on deal with me ,, & Thats what weve done,,
Honestly we booked because if him, he is very professionaly & evertime i went there he was in a suit & very disguinshed.. So I only deal with him ,, HTH
BTW , they only give you 1 ice sculpt anyways,, they take it from the ch to the room ,,

I often wonder who does what there. But we're not letting that hinder our decision. We LOOOOOOOOOOVE the place. Funny thing is, that when we booked, we had Frank as our Banquet Manager, and I think I told you, when we made our first 2500 payment, they told us he was gone. NIce right? No notice, no nothing! In any event, we have nothing in our contract about the sculpture, so thats gonna change REAL fast. I've dealt with some nasty broad, but left it at that, alll because I don't want anyone spittin in my food. Get my drift. Thanks for the info though. I'm gonna call Tom, and just have Darren read what ya said here. I'm sure he'll feel the same. So, we'll just deal with him. Did you see his car by the way? He has a new Bentley or something. HOT!!!! He's definately a distinguised gentleman with taste I might add.

We dealth with Patty. She got married there early in July and left shortly after that. When we did our contract, she threw in the ice sculptures.
I didn't go into the cocktail hour room to see how they looked. I guess i'll see them when I pick up the proofs.

Yea just ask him if u can have that , ,Maybe cause we are not doing the veinse hour,, I dont know why we got that , but its in ink & the ink is dry ,,
No I havent seen his car, but when we went for the tasting , my dad came with mike & I , & my dad was speaking greek to him , so that alone , well sold my dad on the place ,LOL,,

I'm looking at my contract now. No ice sculptures. BUT.. a big F'in green stamp marked 'NO VERBAL AGREEMENTS HONORED. Thats some sh!t huh? I'd really like to show you this, to see if it's any different other than the sculpture included in yours. We're not doing vienese hour either! The more i think, the more i get mad. Granted, we're getting married on a Sunday, and I know it's cheaper, but still, everyone I've spoke with hasstuff thrown in. We're definately NOT made of money to pay extra for somethings thats gonna melt in 4 or 5 hours . Alright, I'm done. I asked you the question, you answered. Thanks
