Hey all you 09 Swan Club girls! I figured since there are quite a few of us now, we could definitely start our own thread. I like using the past threads for some great ideas, but I also figured this is a good place for us 09 planners to post questions and share ideas.
If I am missing any, or as new girls book just let me know and I will update the list!

Yayyy can you add me too? :)
7/24/09 - Camelot Room
I was nervous about booking The Swan Club at first because I didn't know much about it - I just knew we both loved it when we walked in. But now I'm so happy that I've read pretty much only good things about it so far!

FH and I felt the same way, we just both loved it so much! I actually had been there when i was younger, but obviously did not pay close attention because I was like 12 and was not thinking about my wedding, haha.
I updated the list for you and FutureTrophyWife. Sorry it took me so long!

Have any of you girls picked your florist yet? Who will you use and what types of flowers and color schemes do you think you will go with? I'm trying to pick something that will not clash drastically with the camelot room.

not using that room- I have Contessa the smaller room, I went with verbena and got low CPs as room not too big and killer view so no need to block that.
going with ivory, cream, brown colors for flowers

I want low CP's too, for the same reason, do not want to block the view, and the ceilings are not super high, so i like the low CP's but that's just my opinion...

I def want low centerpieces too... most likely I'm going to be doing some form of blue so the blue should go with the yellowish of the room? Maybe?
The florist shopping doesn't start til next week though. So for the list is Pedestals, Flowers by Brian and Flower Michele. I think.

I was actually thinking about blue too, i had the same thoughts it would go w/ the yellows in the room. It's between blue and a wine color for me.
I am going to see those same florists in addition to Flower Barn and burtons.

I didnt even notice the colors in the Camlot room, our colors are tiffany blue, silver and ivory. We choose Flowers by Burtons for the great prices.

Yeah, my friend who got married last July told me I should look at Burtons too... I was just trying to keep my number of choices down since I have such issues making decisions! :)
But the three I was originally looking at are all within 5 mins of my house so I might look at a few more. I was thinking of Verbana too.

When i first booked the room i thought about this too. But , honestly there are so many colors in that room and the yellow is so far from where the tables are that people would never notice. My advice, go with colors you love, nobody is going to hold the centerpiece up to the wall to make sure they match I saw other brides pics with all different colors in that room and it looks amazing. Also, def check out burtons. I went to 4 florists and they were the least expensive and very helfpul.

yea i think we all agree that the yellow tends to throw it off a bit after much thought, im going to stick with the colors of my theme and not worry about the yellow
