Hey all you 09 Swan Club girls! I figured since there are quite a few of us now, we could definitely start our own thread. I like using the past threads for some great ideas, but I also figured this is a good place for us 09 planners to post questions and share ideas.

I was going to do high centerpieces. I am in the camelot. Do you think because of the ceilings it will look too crowded? I am not in love with the low ones I was going to do orchids & white lillies in a clear high vase?

i will prob end up doing high because im making gigantic palm trees... dont ask... lol and i dont want them hangin down in peoples faces... not sure how its gonna look with the low ceilings... im gonna have to test it out when i stroll through there next month!

Do they have 12tops, or you have to fit 12 people at a 10 top table. Jordanna said certain tables would fit 12 but i forgot to ask if thats because the tables are bigger?

plz dont be afraid to call if you have questions! they have always been willing to help me my prob is im tryin not to load up that room.... i think anything over 200 would be too cramped... and i dont want tables on the dancefloor either... the room def is tiny to be their biggest room

ETA: my other gripe is the bathrooms... i have quite a few fam members that just may get stuck in the stalls... my mom & barely fit in there and we're tiny

Ohhh really?? I didnt even check the bathrooms out?/ Hmm. See we fell in love with the cocktail hour room lol sounds stupid but i love that room more then the ballroom and its only an hour. Now we are having a problem with FMIL and her side of the guestlist, she wants to invite everyone and we have told her a million times they won't fit, so we had to take it away from her and shes kicked out now lol. But it ***** cause i didn't think we would have so many people to invite, and we really have to cut it down. I dont want to invite anymore that 190 cause then i feel like 15 to 20 cancels will make it perfect, no tables between mirrors or anything.

oh i know exactly how you feel!!! i'm having huge issues w/ my guestlist and i feel like my parents and my IL's want to invite everyone!!!

the tables that fit 12 are the two on either side of the dias, all the others are 10 and there is one in the middle of the two columns in the back that's only a 7 top. I am inviting 230 and hoping for 30 not to show....sounds horrible but that's where i'm at now.

i think this is just how it is as a bride we worry about every thing!!!!

thanks for that info!!! i cant believe trhose are 12 tables on either side! lol i plan on having all our friends surrounding us thats gonna be 1 sh*tfaced section

i was planning on putting most of my bridal part in the two tables next to us, and if there are extra seats then other friends. like gina said it's going to be one crazy group! The BM, Micheal that i have been dealing w/ said parents and immediate family should go in the front row right in the midway point of the dance floor bc that is best view of the dias.

I am putting strictly friends... so that includes the wedding party, their guests/gfs/bfs, and just reg friends....

The tables right lined up in the front of the dancefloor will go to the immediate fams from both sides... we are intermingling the fams.. i actually like how its all on one side... forces them to talk to each other

OO Ok then thats how i will do it. FH has his 2 brothers and my brother as groomsman so that leaves 2 friends, but he can always just put his brothers at the other tables and put in more friends

We are in the same situation my guest list is getting out of control, I am really hoping for like 30 no's... we have more people on our A list than the room even holds.... I have a big family

I'm the same way... we have 240 on our invite list right now... we might have to do an A list and a B list bc I REALLY don't want more than 200.
