HAHA disregard what I said in the other post, it seems like you girls are WAY ahead of me..I have no idea how I missed this post!

Another suggestion, would a weekday or a Sunday be a better option to keep costs down a little at these places beings we're all broke w/ planning??

Hey... I had another idea too... maybe we could even invite the 08 girls and they could do a re-gifting of something they used from their wedding... or bring stuff and we could have a chinese auction!

So not that I have anything against 08ers at all but I think we should have our own 09 shower. If it is going ot be an 09 gtg then lest keep it an 09 gtg..ya know?

agreed... and please gurls... dont knock yourself out with all this planning... the wedding planning in itself is stressful.... this should be a relaxed occasion for all of us! i really dont think decorations/favors/ etc etc are really needed.... Lets just make it a regular GTG but it'll be in a nice place with an exchanging of gifts... no1 should bust their asss for this fake thing... LOL

understood but i am a nut when it comes to planning, i cook for 6 when it's one and for 12 when it's 6 so no gurantees of not having some special goodies for all you lovely '09ers

I agree. It would be silly to add more into each person's cost just to see a centerpiece or get a favor.
