In another post we were all talking about the 2009 bridal shower. I am making this thread to see how many people are interested in attending, so we can call places and get some pricing.

Well, the way I see it, I'd rather spend my $4 on a beerI won't be drinking the soda so $4 for me would be a waste.
Everyone is going to feel differently on that matter so I think we should just keep all drinks cash bar so that no one can b*tch about anything.![]()

Well how much was the beer , wine and soda option? I know I wouldnt mind spending the extra money to make everyone happy.
I agree with mazz..pay for what you drink...I always end up paying money for others to drink...i dont drink..usually jsut have water...Id pay for the soda, but idont want to tack on another 11 bucks for drinks i wont have..sorry ladies., call me cheap!

It can't be worse than a wedding I went to last summer and all they served was sweetened iced tea! You couldn't even get water! I know it seems like I must be lying or exaggerating... but anyone of you can ask my FH at a g2g... worst wedding EVER!!!!!!!!

A GTG that would be a shower for all of the 09ers... the 08ers did theirs last June
Things we could do:
1) Have a Secret Santa like bride swap where we all buy a 25 gift off of other bride's registry
2) Play shower games like trivia related info from things we've talked about on here
3) Take super fun pics of all of us!
4) Eat good food
5) Get to actually meet all of the people who have helped us out
6) Work on DYI projects????
