Where is everyone planning on taking pics? Is there a small beach near CLM? I thought I saw some pics on here from other CLMers who had beach shots. Anyone know anything?

yes there is a small beach area a few blocks away from CLM , its called Venetian Shores. I will prob stop there just for a lil while to take a few pics since I do want to have some beachy pics. Its not a complete beach since its on the same bay as CLM , but it still a nice area. I really want to take pics at the old westbury gardens and then a few pics at the venetian shores but not sure if i will be able to fit it all in timewise

I am also going to Venetian shores...

How many of you are getting married at CLM? I was wondering if we could share ideas about how to decorate for the ceremony.

I am having my ceremony there and am so glad you asked this because I have no idea what to do as far as decorating the outside. Need some good ideas.

Ya I have some cute ideas but I am afraid that if it rains they wont be do able inside. I was thinking of getting cat tails and dune grass (make a little arrangement) and tying them to every other aisle seat. I would have an aisle runner and maybe some petals along side. As far as the cazebo, I was gonna keep it kind of simple, maybe some veil like material (forget what its called lol) How do they do the inside? Do they supply us with anything?

That sounds really pretty. I'm not sure what they supply. I'll have to ask next time I'm there. I'm so not creative so I'm leaving it all up to my florist.

Just made reservations for the April 15th tasting. I'm so excited to try everything! Is anyone getting extras added on? I feel like they give you plenty as it is but I feel like I want to add something like maybe the chocolate fountain.

I am planning on making a personalized aisle runner and having flower pedals along the side.... I think I might just stick to bows or something for a few of the chair rows.... I am also keeping the gazebo really simple....

As you can tell I am not about spending too much money on the florist, Id rather spend the money somewhere else.

That sounds really pretty. This may be a dumb question but who sets all the ceremony decorations up? Do you just give CLM what you want out there and they do it? Not sure how it works.

I have no idea how they set up for the ceremony. I am going to ask next time I go in. As for the add ons, I am really considering the chocolate fountain too. We tried it at the tasting and it was such a nice touch. Everyone really enjoyed it. They only had one on display and from what I understand, they have 3 for the wedding. I think the kids would really enjoy it too. We will see if the budget allows :o)

Does anyone know what bakery CLM uses or how we go about picking out the cake?

yes, they use black florist and I also can't remember the name of the other local florist (i have the name at home).

I called clm last week about decorations and they said they would set everything up as long as you bring it in and tell them where everything goes. I would have a picture demonstration. However, they said flowers must be brought it the same day, everythign else you can bring in a few days prior to the weddings.

I was looking to do flowers through a company on the internet and they send out the flowers a few days before hand. However, I do not want to drive to clm the day of my wedding to bring the flowers. My mother lives in mid-suffolk.
