Hey Guys! I might be a Leonards bride soon!! I am so glad I found this thread today. I am currently living in Ecuador and am doing everything over the phone and internet so it´s really hard to be sure.
My mother had recommended Leonards but I read some not so favorable things about them (such as the BHB thread) and was getting worried. I´m glad to see you guys like it so much. From the website pics and what my mother tells me it´s really beautiful. It might not be everyone style but for my Italian fam I think it would be great!!! And my mom is Ecuadorian and likes it too so I think it appeals to everyone!
My fam is going to the tasting tomorrow. Tommy told me that it´s at 12:00.
I am having my mother, father, sister and her boyfriend go in for the tasting (that way i get opinions from both age groups!!) and to take pics.
I was a little worried when I heard they use fake flowers for the ceremony set up indoors (I´m getting married on site as well) but have since heard it looks really nice.
Has anyone seen the Empire room (i think that´s what its called)? I think that is the room they´re giving me bc of the size (only 50-80 ppl)
As for pics, I heard of a few people who got married there that did the pics on site. Apparently you can take them indoor and out. Since I am having the ceremony there and not seeing FH before that (at mothers request and in a way I agree) I´m doing this. I dont´want to miss the whole cocktail hour driving around. I will most likely be booking for early next year but will be in NY in October to see the place first hand.

In my opinion all of the rooms are nice, they are all very similar so you cant really go wrong!
I went to the food tasting today and everything was great! I was a little confused because the food was not labeled so we didnt know what we were eating half the time, but overall it was dee-lish! The filet mignon...yum yum! My Mom got to view the hall for the 1st time and she LOVES it I look forward to visiting again next month

I missed the Food Tasting...I had gone in March so really didn't care to go and being that I didn't know if any of you were going I didn't care to go.
My mom, one of my BM's and I went in to meet with Tommy (my BM). I just basically wanted to ask him how much it would be to upgrade some of the liquor, the Latin Flair (during CH) and the Vietnesse(not sure of sp).
Everytime I go it feels so surreal! I have heard mixed reviews about Leonard's, but imo its the same for every RH, some ppl have better experiences than others! However, I have heard alot of good things about Leonard's so I think we should all be pretty safe!
I went to my finalization meeting yesterday and Ian was awesome!! Some of the upgrades you can get are banana split station, cheesecake station, Godiva chocolates station, cotton candy machine, ice sculpture( whatever design you want) for $300, Spanish station for $7 per person, daiquiri and pina coladas served during cocktail hour for $50. If you ladies are interested i can give you a list of all the other extras i don't have prices though because he only gives prices if your interested in the choice. This is the cake i chose
hey girls, so I have gotten a lot done since my last post. We booked Leonards for June 19th in the Leonardo Davinci room (upstairs) and very excited about the VH hour!! I've had some issues because our BM left and we were not informed but it's better now. Now I'm in the process of booking vendors. So far we have the hall, church, flowers, limos, my dress and the bm dresses so I think we are off to a good start.
Next things to book is the photog, and DJ. Hopefully its not too difficult!
